Opening Remarks by Mr. Abimbola Adeseyoju, Founder/Managing Director of DataPro Limited on the Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the company on Wednesday, 25th November, 2020.
Good Afternoon, our distinguished guests. I whole heartedly welcome everyone that has joined us, at this hour, from all over the world. This event is streaming live because of the exigencies of the times we found ourselves. This is what has now become the New Normal. We all have to adapt and adjust the way we do things going forward. The year 1995 was a very significant one in my life. It was the year I got married to Frankie, my ever pleasant, ever loving and always smiling wife. Ademikun, the first of our three children, who has now joined DataPro after her Masters Degree in Data Analytics from both UK and American Universities was born same year.
1995 also witnessed the visualization, conception and establishment of DataPro Limited. We therefore thank the Almighty God for all his Mercies and Grace over us. It is true “DataPro has come a long way” We started in 1995 as purely a Compliance Consulting firm. However, over the past 25years, the company has grown into a multidimensional and multidisciplinary organisation, known for the following cutting edge and exceptional services:

We are now in the 4th Industrial revolution. The Age of New Technologies. To remain relevant and customer-centric we are leveraging on our Application Programming Interface (API) platform that will also be unveiled today.
Over the past 25years, DataPro has consistently given back to its immediate community and stakeholders. We have spearheaded and sponsored numerous efforts at socializing and educating the generality of Nigerians on the value proposition of Compliance, Ethical Conduct and Corporate Governance. We strongly believe, that what Nigeria needs to turn around is Compliance. If we all do the right things always and encourage others to do same, then Nigeria will surely occupy its rightful place in the shortest possible time. Today, we are also taking this corporate social responsible a notch higher by instituting an Endowment Fund with the Compliance Institute, Nigeria (CIN). The Fund which will be increased annually by DataPro and is to be used by CIN to promote the culture and practice of compliance in Nigeria.
The sum total of our success lies in the dedication and determination of our team over the years. Over the course of our operation we have had exceptional talents work with us. Oladele Adeoye, our Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer is a rare gem. With over 18years dedication to the cause and spirit of DataPro he has the needed DNA and all it takes to assume the piloting of the company. I appeal to all our stakeholders, customer and clients to continue to give him all the needed cooperation as we begin the needed succession plan that will ensure DataPro outlives all of us.
